Join us in person for the 14th Annual MoSt Poetry Festival\, a bilingual poetry conference featuring poet Juan Luzuriaga \n\n\n\n14th Annual MoSt Poetry Festival: Come to the Table with Juan Luzuriaga\nRegistration and continental breakfast 9:30-10:00 a.m.\nWorkshop 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.\nLight lunch served \nGet ready for an amazing morning and afternoon at the 14th Annual MoSt Poetry Festival\, for a bilingual conference where Spanish and English will be celebrated in poetry. \nGuest poet/facilitator: Juan Luzuriaga \nJoin us in person to experience the powerful words and unique style of Juan Luzuriaga. \nJuan Luzuriaga was born in Guayaquil\, Ecuador\, and immigrated to the U.S. at 16 in 2000. He studied Neuroscience at Rutgers University and English at UC Merced. He teaches poetry in prisons\, at Cuesta College\, and California Poets in the Schools. He has been a featured panelist at UC Merced\, Cuesta College Central Coast Writers’ Conference\, Litfest and more\, and he is a featured panelist at the 2026 San Francisco Writers Conference Poetry Summit. \nHe has been published in Acentos Review\, San Diego Poetry Annual\, Monterey Poetry Review\, Cholla Needles\, Poetry Breakfast\, Matchbox Magazine\, and in the anthologies Silence Is Consent\, To Be Completely Honest\, and Method Writers Speak. Roseburg Ave\, Modesto CA\nEvent free; books\, beverages\, and merch available for purchase. \nLINDA SCHELLER\nLinda Scheller is a San Joaquin Valley educator and author whose poetry\, plays\, and book reviews appear in Slipstream\, Colorado Review\, Terrain\, Notre Dame Review\, and Poetry East\, among many other publications. She serves as vice president of Modesto-Stanislaus Poetry Center\, letters chair for National League of American Pen Women’s Modesto branch\, and co-\nproducer of KCBP Community Radio’s Arts of the San Joaquin Valley and Women of the Valley. \nHonors include Best of the Net and Pushcart Prize nominations\, Catherine Cushman Leach Poetry Awards\, and California Federation of Chaparral Poets Prizes. Linda is the author of Fierce Light\, published by FutureCycle Press in 2017; Wind & Children\, published by Main Street Rag in 2022\, and The Ghosts of 16 Larkin Street\, selected by Ariel Francisco Henriquez Cos for The\nWord Works 2026 Hilary Tham Capital Collection. Her poems explore interrelatedness across disparate aspects of nature and culture\, from the fantastic to the mundane\, the subatomic to the celestial\, often enacting scientific thinking in structure and mode\, independent of theme. Her literary publications and features include The Marginalian\, POETRY\, The Common\, The Threepenny Review\, Plume\, and many anthologies.
