About

The Modesto-Stanislaus Poetry Center is dedicated to promoting poetry throughout Stanislaus County and to promoting Stanislaus County through poetry. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and we organize various poetry-related activities throughout the year in the Modesto and Stanislaus County area, including the Modesto Poetry Festival, Stanislaus County Youth Poet Laureate program, The Poetry on Sunday Series at Carnegie Arts Center, and Second Tuesdays on in person & on Zoom.
