On Tuesday, Dec. 9, the Second Tuesday Poetry Series continues with readings from Raina J. Leon and Dimitri Keriotis. Raina is a poet from the East Bay, whose book, Boogeyman Dawn, will just knock your socks off. Dimiti is a prose writer from MJC whose first collection of short stories, A Quiet Time, just came out this fall. I know both of these people will be wonderful to hear. The fun will start at 6:00. This Saturday, November 29th, from 6 to 10 pm is Modesto’s own indie craft market, Mod Shop, held downtown each year. MoSt will have a table set up in the Community Corner at the Mistlin Gallery, 1015 J Street. We will have a raffle basket, books and broadsides for sale, and you can even witness a command performance of Poetry-On-The-Spot by our member poets! Don’t miss it!
